Getting around
Interstate 376, known locally as the Beaver Valley Expressway, bisects the township and is the main route toward Pittsburgh International Airport and downtown Pittsburgh. Two of the interstate's interchanges are in the township. The Beaver County Transit Authority terminal is also located here.

The district was formed in 2009 from the former Center Area and Monaca school districts. Students attend Center Grange Primary School (grades K to 2), Todd Lane Elementary (3 to 5), Central Valley Middle School (6 to 8) and Central Valley High School (9 to 12).
